Trichoderma mycoparasites: Their role in enhancing plant growth and disease resistance

Abstract
Trichoderma
species are widely recognized for their mycoparasitic properties and
their ability to enhance plant growth and disease resistance. This review
explores the mechanisms through which Trichoderma mycoparasites contribute to
plant health, including direct antagonism of pathogens, production of
growth-promoting substances, and induction of systemic resistance. By
synthesizing recent research findings, this paper provides a comprehensive
overview of the multifaceted roles of Trichoderma in sustainable agriculture.
